Cornu Saigae Tataricae Ling Yang Jiao 4g Drains Liver Heat, calms the Liver, anchors Yang, extinguishes Wind, drains Heat and controls spasms and convulsions.
With Shi Jue Ming, Gui Ban and Ju Hua, for Liver Yang Rising.
Plastrum Testudinis Gui Ban 15g Nourishes Yin, anchors Yang, benefits the Kidneys and nourishes the Blood.
With Ju Hua and Shi Jue Ming, for light-headedness and vertigo due to Liver Yang Rising.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 12g Clears Deficiency Fire, clears Liver Fire, activates the Blood and dispels Blood Stasis.
With Ju Huan, for dizziness and red, swollen eyes due to ascending Liver Fire.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Kidney Yin Deficiency with steaming bones.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 15g Nourishes the Blood, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu, for flank pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 12g Resolves Shao Yang disorders, reduces fever, spreads Liver Qi and relieves Stagnation.
With Bai Shao, for vertigo, dizziness and thoracic and costal pain due to Liver Qi Stagnation.
Periostracum Cicadae Chan Tui 12g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, stops spasms and extinguishes Liver Wind.
Flos Chrysanthemi Ju Hua 12g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, calms Liver Yang and extinguishes Wind.
With Chan Tui, for superficial visual obstruction and red, watery, swollen, painful eyes due to Liver Heat from either Wind-Heat or Liver Yang Rising.
Spica Prunellae Xia Ku Cao 15g Clears Liver Fire and brightens the eyes.
